Handcrafted wooden gifts

As a retired teacher, my dad made a second career out of selling ornaments carved from local Christmas trees, which he sold at prominent gift shops and craft shows in New England.  I inherited my passion for woodworking from him and my sense of simple style from my mom.  In my twenties, I fulfilled my desire to work with my hands and build things by taking up various remodeling projects around my home; in my thirties, I was diagnosed with a back injury which has significantly limited my mobility and left me wondering how to shift from my career in sales to something physically less demanding but just as fulfilling; in my forties, as we faced the global pandemic and we were contained to the house, I found myself drawn to the garage – first creating a few ornaments similar to the ones my dad had made, then wondering what else I could create.  And Killer Woodwork was born.
